Hi,

I have from a Jeti MSPEED EX sensor mounted on my jet. When flying we noticed that the speed the sensor is giving us on the Jetibox Pro is way off. So I tested it on a test bench that is been used to test real jet fighter planes speed indicators. During testing we noticed that there is a deference of +/- 100 km/h. Setting the bench on a speed of 100km/h results in a speed on the box of +/- 140 km/h. The faster we go the more the difference is.

Anyone still having the same problems?

Ben

Yes. Accuracy seems to vary quite a bit from sensor to sensor.
I flew a MSPEED 360 sensor in my speeder plane where I was able to easily hit the 100 m/ sec limit.
So I exchanged the sensor with the new MSPEED 450. The pitot tube and silicon tubes remained the same at exactly the same position as before.
interestingly the max top speed I can achieve now is around 320km/h with exactly the same power train and setup as before. (BTW the 320 are way more realistic than the previously measured 360km/h :))
Cheers Stephan
