MVario2 Ex über Expander E2 EX an R14 Ex wird nicht erkannt

Hallo Matthias,

hast du dein Problem lösen können? Ich habe bei mir gerade einen ähnlichen Fall und würde deine Lösung gerne hören.
Also: Ich verwende folgende Komponenten: DS16, 2.4EX Empfänger R9, MVario2 EX sowie einen ESC YGE 35LVT. Wenn ich Empfänger euf EX-Bus stelle kann ich am Ext Kanal direkt das Vario oder den ESC lesen und im Gerätemanager finden/programmieren sowie in den Sensoren alles vorhanden. Sobald ich über das MVario2 den ESC anschließe ist dieser nicht mehr sichtbar und auch bei den Sensoren kommt er nicht mehr vor.?!

YGE schreibt dass der ESC das EX-Bus Protokoll benötigt was allerdings anscheinend nicht beim MVario2 durchgeschliffen wird?
Kann das sein weil lt Anleitung Jeti HP steht : "Expander – für eine Anschlussmöglichkeit weiterer JETI Duplex
Sensoren (z.B. MUI…) mit JETIBOX, Duplex EX und EX Bus
Protokoll. Der MSPEED EX Sensor für eine TEK Funktion wird
automatisch erkannt"

Oder lese ich das falsch bzw geht das überhaupt? Wäre auf jeden Fall für Expertentipps dankbar

For a test I have set the EXT port of a R9 EX receiver set to EX-bus. Then a MVario 2 connect to the EXT port. The MVario 2 is visible in the Device Explorer. With the Device Explorer both MVario 2 exits set to Expander. Now a MGPS connect to port 1 of the MVario 2. This is a EX sensor. The MGPS is not visible in the Device Explorer. This is normaal. The MGPS works as expected.
Now on the second MVario 2 port a Mezon Pro connected. The Mezon Pro is a EX-bus sensor and is visible in the Device Explorer.

As expected the MVario2 ports switch automaticly between old EX sensors and new EX-bus sensors.

Do not use E4 or E2 expanders. This are EX expanders and works unidirectionel. Ex-Bus needs bidirectionel communication.

Hi Nico,

thank you very much for testing, following your explanation it means the the MVario2 works as written in the manual and the problem might be @YGE with telemetry protocol.
I'll ask YGE about their experienc.

A quick solution for this problem can be found in the use of an Rsat2 receiver. Connect the receiver to the SAT port of the R9 and use the Dual Path option of the transmitter. Set the EXT port of the RSat2 as S-Bus. Connect the ESC to the S-Bus of the R9 and the MVario2 to the S-Bus of the RSat2.
I use this problem-free.

An additional advantage is a more secure connection between the transmitter and the aircraft.

Hi Nico,

this is a good workaround and I have to store that for other appliactions, I the actual fuselage I have no space for this. I am wondering why YGE is visible in the device manager when direct plugged to R9 but not via the MVario2. Its hard for me to understand the difference as you wrote it works on your side.

Anyway I will talk to YGE and keep u updated.
