Jeti box profi Update

Hello Jeti box profi experts,

I have a Jeti box profi with software version 1.21 installed. I wanted to update it as I understand that the latest version is version 1.22.

I connected it to Jeti-Studio using my USB adaptor. It didn't seem to connect. To ensure that my pc/USB was OK, I then connected a REX3 receiver. I was able to update that without any difficulties. I then tried the Jeti box profi again but it doesn't seem to connect.

This is the first time I have tried to update a Jeti box profi.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Acrow,
this is just simple but a bit different to other jeti devices.
Open this jeti URL: support.jetimodel.cz/de/Downloads-1/Firm...-Sensoren-Tx-Module/
Scroll-down to "Update - JB profi" and choose "JETIBOX profi V1.22 - JB profi Update (12/2018), REX Assist, RC DroidBox Unterstützung" ZIP file.
download it to your local computer and extract it.
You will find the update file an a detailed instruction how to run it.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I have downloaded the app and ran it.
The messages are
USB adaptor OK
Device searching
Activate update please.

When I do that, Profi states "Waiting" and does not progress.

What should I try next?

Hi Acrow,
First connect the Profibox to the Windows computer via USB.
Then press ESC on the Profibox, then select Setup, scroll down to update
and start the downloaded update program.

Thanks for the links and the directions. I still haven't been able to get it to work.

Could you please clarify do I activate the update in the profi before I run the exe?

Guess it’s detailed described in my post before. After you’ve connected the box via USB cable to the pc go to the Box and start navigation menu via ESC key and follow the menu till you reached the update area.
Just verify within manual description starting with chapter 15 and continue on 15.7.
