I absolutely support this idea..
Firstly its easy to implement because the value is live already.
And secondly it really helps us optimising the aircraft and locate hidden problems.

And third, there is a further element in the overall system which can make the Jeti system the best in the world;-)
It is simply a must!

TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_REPLIED_NEW Record the receiving quality by telemetry

Good day to you all !
Here’s my 2 cents – and I think that PW is not at all that wrong with his statement and his personal opinion ...
What we currently have is the possibility to monitor the values of Antenna1 and Antenna2. I was given to understand by Jeti, that these values resemble the signal strength of the back channel from the RX to the TX .
What you are actually looking to log and review is the signal strength RECEIVED by the RX. A such log could provide valid data as to the signal quality and strength and also possible loss and – coupled with a GPS and Vario log – the location and height of the model at a specific time.
But here’s the clue … In order to log the signal strength received by the RX the RX would have to have a built in memory or an SD card, because you will most likely have lost the back channel long before you completely lose the received TX signal, which means the data required would not be transmitted …
With a built in memory you could actually pick up the pieces of your crashed model, hope that the receiver is not crushed and then afterwards read out what happed and if indeed a signal loss caused the crash …
Above is my personal opinion and if I got anything technically wrong, everybody is welcome to correct me and give me some better advice.
Cheers, Todde

Hello,
Today I received an e-mail from an employee of Jeti model s.r.o.
I hope it is not wrong if I will post this e-mail here.
"... The information about the signal strength will be revised to make more sense and it will probably be included in the near future.
Hope it is a good message ... "
That's good news!
greeting
Peter
