PDF-manual with content structure

and a question to the community on top.

I am working on mac osx. I do have adobe acrobat pro 9, but never use it, was part of an adobe-suite.
so I am not familiar with adobe acrobat pro.
but the links in the index on top of the manual pdf do work.
is there maybe an option to automatically turn this index in a content structire for the side menu?
I checke briefly the adobe help but did not find a solution quickly.
maybe someone has in depth adobe knowledge than we could simply create a community-manual and upload it to the e.b. Jetimagazin for all mebers to download?
