I don't know about you guys but I am not in love with repeating non stop alarms they are nerve racking.
If I only hear them once sometimes I am just not sure what kind of alarm it was, if it was an urgent land quick or a you got time but land type of alarm

I would suggest that we could have a choice in the repeat function for a repeat twice or repeat thrice which then would make sure you understand it fully but would not be so annoying as to repeat itself non stop.

Either that or a way to have a switch stop the non stop repeat alarm. That would be my second choice as it would be a waste of a switch

Hi,

full agree at this point, I would love to have the possibility to select some kind of "repeat intervall". That would allow to hear e.g. a capazity alarm for landing only every 20 seconds instead of an immediate repeat loop.

Cheers,

You already have the choice to stop a repetitive alarm. You just have to configure a switch for it. I've done it with capacity alarms in my models. They get repetitive when it's time to land and I can kill it by a switch.
I'm at work right now and have to look at home how I did it. But it's pretty easy and more or less selfexplanatory.

Best regards,
Meikel.

The problem with the existing functionallity is: the alarm is only silenced as long as the switch is in the appropriate position. That means if you switch the alarm off after landing and before the next flight the switch is still in OFF ! And then you take off with silenced warnings... :-(

The best way would be a CONFIRMATION PUSHBUTTON that silences the existing warning ONCE.
Advantages:
you never forget to turn the warning switch back on
If a warning condition disappears and comes again, you'll recognize it again
you can confirm and silence all kinds of warnings with only one button

I suggested that before:

Hello

You can change your wave files with "Audacity" to extend the duration of silence after the message. I did it for "lost signal" and my message every 25 seconds back.
