Function missing

This appears to be a big limitation of the DS-16 radio:
In my mode right and left stick are not directly used for throttles (2 Zen38 + mechanical inverters mounted on a boat)

In slow motion mode I must use a mix "steering"/"left stick" for "left throttle" function
The reason is that neutral is centered, "left throttle" is used to drive mechanical inverter. Upper moving = forward; Lower moving = backwards
So, if I only move the stick to the right, left propeller will turn forward and right propeller will turn backwards

As you can see I do not use directly sticks for throttles. But I must name a function "left stick" for mixing.
DS-16 has only 16 functions.
So I can only use 15 channels.
Futaba T14MZ has "virtual channels" for this use, so you do not lose 1 channel every time you use mixing.

It is really a big limitation of the DS-16.
Let's hope this will be modified soon.

Dans mon modèle les manches de droite et de gauche ne commandent pas directement les gaz.
J'utilise un mixage "Direction" vers "manche G" pour la fonction "Gaz G"
Ceci parce que le zéro gaz est au centre et que c'est la fonction "Gaz G" qui commande l'inverseur mécanique.
Il faut comprendre qu'en raison du mixage si je pousse seulement le manche vers la droite ceci aura pour effet d'augmenter "Gaz G", sans avoir bougé le manche (fonction "manche G") en vertical.
Pour faire le mixage "Direction" vers "Manche G" je dois créer la fonction "manche G". Evident.
Mais j'ai créé là une fonction non utilisée pour une sortie servo.
Et comme la Jeti ne dispose que de 16 fonctions il va me manquer une fonction pour avoir 16 sorties, je n'en ai plus que 15 !!!!

T14 MZ was 1700 Euros when I bought it.
DS-16 is the same price now... But with all telemetry sensors.
Somebody told me Jeti DS-16 will do everything T14MZ did, and even more.
I think it will do, this is the reason for my post.
As long as you have an unusual model you need more than plane or heli does.

Not being able to use 16 channels with DS-16 is just unbelievable !

The DS-16 is not your Problem.
Delete Function GasD and GasG and use instead Gas(1) and Gas(2). This are the right ones.
So you save two functions and the problem is solved.

The Problem are the French names of the functions for me.

Please follow the Solution from Harald . DS-16 has 16 Chanels !

Price is 1398 Euro and NOT 1700 Euro ! New Price for Futaba was
more than 2000 euro !
