...wo wir gerade bei dem Thema sind: Wie sieht das eigentlich mit einem HDMI-Anschluss aus, falls die Übertragung von Videosignalen vom Modell in den Sender geplant sein sollte?

Gruß, Kai

The display has a resolution that is equal to the 70's VHS screen. It's only 1/4th of 80's VGA, 1/5th of 90's DVD and 1/25th of HD. An HDMI plug would be like a mounting formula-1 tires on a 2CV.

I was hoping they improve the resolution and the size of the DC-24's display in order to make FPV possible (and as well other features) but it doesn't look so. I would call the 320x240 display useless when it comes to FPV. :(

higher resolution and biger size both need a stronger backlight -> more power drawn -> shorter runtime.

i have the feeling (just my personal observation) that the main useres of a dc-24 will be sailplane people, and they love loooooong runtimes ;)

anyway if i would buy something in that price range for FPV it would be something like the DJI light bridge, where i have digital video, long range and pilot + gimbal AV in one.

selling the DC-24 at this time with only analog FPV at that price point... i woult not buy it for fpv.

just my 2 cent =)

Yep, totally agree,

But honestly, if you do proper FPV you use goggles anyway.
I do some FPV racing and i can not use any external screen , i tried.
But yeah, the sailplane people, will love it.
Hope my new E-Typhoon will land soon :)

I agree with you - i am a sailplane pilot. :) But i think 640x400 would be a good and useable compromise.

Are there plans to integrate a google map view like skynavigator does in the android app to show the current GPS-position of the plane?
