I apologise if this has been asked before, DS 16 serious fogging of the screen when in sunlight. So bad none of the screen could be seen the only was to cure it was to put the TX back in the shade. Has there been a remedy for this situation. Thanks for any info Paul

Hello,

this is a Problem, some of us have experienced. Here i sa Long thread about it. The display of my DS-16 shows the same especially when first using it in hot conditions. After some time it gets better.

Hi,
Probleme is reproducible.
Are you storing your transmitter in a relative humid room (cellar or hobbyroom) ?
Have the same, if I store my DS14
transmitter with my friend (in his "bastelkeller"). Effect does not show, if I store in my flat.

Hi,
correct: it is "condension", normal reaction (high humidity, big temperatur differences etc.)

I let the TX case in my hobby room open for example.

Hello,

the display-fogging has got nothing to do with the way how to store the TX.

...but that does not mean that one should store the TX in humid conditions ;-)

Greetings,
Kai

Thank you all for your advice, It would appear the Jeti TXs are more susceptible to fogging dependant upon how you store them and atmospheric conditions, more so than other makes. I will in future be more weary of this and try to alleviate the issues with storage and TX temp.
