In Menu > Fine Tuning > V-Tail Mix
the throw of elevator and rudder can be controlled separately for each direction. I.e differential and asymmetric

I dont see how you control the throws per direction here.

But if I start here, and align the throws so that the throws of left and right control surface are equal, then dialing in differential will make the mode pitch equal no matter which direction I turn.

I will test

Hi gecko

That is how I intend to align the throws, and thereby be able to have the model pitching the same wether I turn left or right..
Best regards

Using V-Tail Mix does not allow you to assign individual differentiation by direction (left / right).

Therefore back to the proposed work around. Use two Dual Rate settings, one for Rudder left, one for Rudder right. Flip between the two by setting a switch in Rudder neutral position.
Steps to go
1. Go to Dual Rate / Exponential settings for Rudder
2. Define a Switch in the neutral position of the Rudder stick (P3 in my case9)
Left = off, Rigt = on
3. You are now able to define to Dual Rate settings that allow you to control Rudder differentiation individually for left / right Rudder
Hope that helps

TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_REPLIED_NEW V-tail, rudder out of sync

Hi again, now I did some testing and measuring

The solution is quite simple. It is necesary to adjust the V-tail so that the throws are equal on left and right V-tail. You can adjust in either Servo setup menu or in V-tail menu.

When the adjustment is done, the rudder differential works correctly. and the up and down movement are equal on left and right V-tail.

Off course, the first thing to check is the mechanical setup. If anything can be done here, it must be done before adjusting in the menus.

Thank you for your patience.
Best regards
