No, I fly only at slope, retract gear make no sense and it's not practice to launch by myself the model in the valley!

Hi,

I just had short luck with my refurbished FES Ventus. Friday last week it crashed into the woods due to a strong wirn at the final approach over the trees (required when comes from easterly directions).
The right wing is totally broken, the rest is OK. Thanks to 95% KEVLAR the fuselage is completely OK.
This confirms that Kevlar is a better material for a fuselage than Carbon.
I replaced the broken MEZON 120 with a YEP 90 and motor telemetry is now done through my LinkVario as this is better suited for E-gliders than the MEZON telemetry (no resets all the time).

Onki it's a pity !
This kind of negative events tell me that I'm not the "only one" having some accident ( for me in landing on rough area on slopes... not a piste!).
Kevlar it's better for fuselage and carbon with internal win skin,m isn't it ?
