Here's some basic ideas so far, parts are ordered, delivery in ~4-6 weeks. Stay tuned 
Do you need anything else?
- Auto- or Maunual mode selectable
- 1.5" OLED screen, good visibility in sunlight
- 10 Model quick-selection
- Rotary-knob with push-button for easy use in menu's & settings
- 3 Buttons, "Start Pumping", "Start reverse pumping" and for emergency "Stop"
- Main switch for main power (System does use a little current when idle, no issue with such a short start-time)
- Automatic, adjustable reverse pumping after full tank to drain filling tube
- Settings per model (Different models have different pump resistance and thresholds for shut-down)
- This also means every models needs to be test-pumped (Once) and settings stored
- 2S-3S LiPo usage (I'll investigate 2S-6S possibility

Sounds perfect to more he should not really have my opinion can not cook coffee he does not need
