Hi,

Same problem for me.
Rex6 Assist V1.09 on a Slick 580 with electric motor.
The aircraft is set up, no problem, one year old.

When I upgrade to V1.12, the aircraft pitch down from upright or inverted position.
It does it when the aircraft flies level. Sometimes, not. It seems to depend on the fuselage position: level, slightly up or down. A gentle touch to the elevator will stop it.
No flight phase for the gyro, no HH.
What did I miss?
It seems to be a bug to me.

Everything back to normal when I downgrade to V1.09.

Best regards,
Hugo

Hi Hugo
I "solved" the problem by applying flight phases for the gyro modes. In damping mode, I trimmed two clicks up and that helped.
(HH not realy tested so far. In HH mode, trimming is not recommended because every control input after initalisation will be linked to a particular roll rate of that axis).

I think the Jeti gyro has a problem because in damping mode there should be no trim required.

Regards
Felix

Hi Rof,

Thank you for your answer.
I could try that, however, my plane goes down also when it is inverted.

I did not try V1.10 but I think that V1.12 is corrupted.

Best regards,
Hugo

Strange. I have 2 jets with Assist 12 channel and V1.12.
Because everything is so new, I turn on the stabilization more often on and off.
In the damping mode, the jets remain neutral. All is good.

Hi Teegee,

It happens only when the aircraft is flying level in horizontal flight.

You fly a straight line and accelerate.
Depending on the aircraft attitude, the aircaft will pitch down.
If the nose is very slightly up, it does not happen.
The dive is exponential.
At first, the aircraft flies level for one or two seconds and then starts to pitch down.
It does not matter if its is upright or inverted, it will pitch always down.
If you touch the elevator just a little bit, the pitch down will stop.

Hi Hugo,

I had exactly the same problem with 1.10 in a model power Extra with 3.00m wingspan.
I solved the problem with a cortex pro :(
