Sound from SM modellbau GPS-Logger 2

A few moments after switching on my SM modellbau GPS-Logger2 the DC-16 give 5 variotones. Two high tones and three low tones.

I do not know what the GPS logger 2 try to tel me...

The picture show the value is exactly + 2 m/sec and -2 m/sec. I think te GPS-logger 2 generate this. But why.

Have someone a answer???

Hi Nico,

I do have the same tone some time after switching on. I guess this is the acoustic indicator for a 3D GPS Fix. But thgis is just a guess. You should contact Stephan Merz directly to be sure.
In addition my GPS2 Loggers do give a +40m/s rise and a second later a -40 fall tone. This happens about once every 20 to 30 mins in a flight. No idea where this comes from. I Guess this is light coming into the pressure sensor (some of they are sensitive to incoming light).
