hallo, thanks for your fast answers.

@jay
i have to check the firmware version, no idea at this moment. i will let you know. I just need the usb-cable for the update?

@PW

sorry for maybe not explaining properly, i am not a native speaker...

No, i did not press pairing during the flight, i pressed it MINIMUM 2 minutes prior to the connection loss on the ground AND changed to the Mvario Display before i started. The Jetibox was displaying the Mvario values BEFORE i started! "pairing" function seems to run in the background for a longer time :(

nevertheless, is there a possibility to disable the pairing function completely? i don´t need it and i don´t want it... as you can imagine...

Hi Daniel,

as told; new version have a "60 second limit"; than after 60 sec. "pairing" is stopped automatically.

Do you have software Version ? I think to stopp "paiting" completly not possible.

You will need: www.jetimodel.com/en/katalog/Accessories/@produkt/USB-Adapter/
As the receiver did not stop the pairing mode by itself I think that your receiver has a old software version.

i bought the update cable today and did an update some minutes ago. i am quite happy, now the pairing mode is running for only 60 seconds and seems to be cancelled immediately if "pairing" screen is left by > or< button even during the 60 seconds. with an earlier update the model loss could have been avoided :(. i hope that other users can learn from this before loosing models...update function is working well :). It seems that jeti is working on real improvements on their products. very good customer care, thanks for that. makes spending 1000€ for a new jeti transmitter easier ;)
