Today after setting up a new model I switched off the receiver (R10 EX). The DC-16 responded soon with speech output "signal lost" which is ok, but then in addition with speech output "range check mode", repeating alternating with the first message.
The software version is 1.07.1 and the display showed the main screen. I was able to clear both speech outputs by pressing the CLR button. I am sure that I haven't selected "range check" mode or even entered the range check menu today.
I was not able to reproduce this event for a second time with various tries.
