i do this yesterday. the range chek is perfect.
perhaps my field is a terrible place, others guys have some lost frames whit futaba, but not more than 0,5 sec. i think whit the data log is more scary because you konw what hapend, but i feel super unsecure whit the fail safe. what hapend if i fly whit fail safe enable or desable? can i have some lost frames and thats all?.
i use the sat2 because i try to do some beter cuality signal. i try to prepar other plane to continue the test.
a good friend of mine have some isues whit his ds16, jeti remplace the mother board, it is posible nobody have this caind of isues?

Anyway the 5.02 has some bugs. But it should not affect the range of signal.

Was your DS new? Or used? I would suggest that you contact your dealer.
