i translate the original post
Hi
I have a jeti ds16 with rx 7rex.
I have it in my installed f3a plane and I am constantly suffering from signal loss
Yesterday trying to request the problem, install the rx with satellite in clone mode in a small plane. After countless low signal alarms, the model went into fail safe and never recovered
I don't feel safe at all and I'm very disappointed since my sold was 18MZ to have a more reliable radio.
Is it possible to have a soft problem?
I attach photos of the log

I never used a SAT in addition to the RX.
I just use the SAT in combination with a Powerbox Competition or Mercury (then I install 2 of them).

Anyway: if you add a SAT to the RX, I would suggest to switch to 2 way HF module instead of clone.
An then you connect it to the E1 port if I’m right.

In the Jeti box you have to prepare the REX7 and the Rsat first:
Connect the REX7 and modify the PIN E1 to “PPM INPUT”.
Then connect the Rsat to the Jeti box and modify under MEASUREMENT/SERIAL LINK the Rsat to “JB, PPM pos”.
Then connect the Rsat via a cable from PPM to the REX E1 input.
Don’t use the Clone mode unless you don’t use a TU2 module or something else!

... let’s see what the others are saying.

But again: there must be something wrong with the power. Was it a BEC controller?

Can you make some screen shots from the RX setup inside the DS menu?

The REX receivers updated with the latest firmware have an EX bus input.
So always use the combination of REX receiver and RSat with EX-Bus connection and with Dual Path mode.
In clone mode, the receiver/RSat does not send telemetry back to the transmitter. Therefore, Dual Path Mode is always preferable to Clone Mode.
