TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED wanted: small/light TX for backpack
13 Jun 2020 15:54
dont get me wrong i love my DS16.
but it is on the heavy side and it is not the smallest out there
(i know there is now a DS12 while lighter it is still not small'ish)
since the whole racecopter stuff works good with fr-sky i bought one of their x-lite...
yes yes, it looks wired....
but i was verry suprised how good this thing fits in your hands, first TX ever where i dont feel the need for a neck strap.
switches, momentary buttons, sliders, all "blind" findable.
even when throwing a DLG it is nice.
with its carry case it fits easyly in a backpack together with your other model stuff
if you ever want to diverge from your current TX design, this one from jeti i would get in an heartbeat
it does not need to have many channels, backup frequencies, many mixers and stuff, since you would not bring this to a long flight day at the field. but for flying 2 packs at way home from work... would love it...
regards

Same with me, also have one. Reason no RX for racecopters from Jeti. And super handy. Even usable with 900 MHz system . Long range flying made easy. Please take this serious, and don’t forget the quad pilots. Not everybody is a small kid with no budget. And you are forcing people to migrate to FrSky or TBS crossfire as well.
