Upgrade for Jeti DC/DS-24 to Version II

I use the Jeti system side by side with the Open TX system on an Radiomaster TX 16S with a Crossfire module and I am getting a harder and harder time to justify to myself to bye more Jeti components even though I really like Jeti. And don’t try to argue about Jeti holding a much higher quality. Open TX and the Radiomaster transmitters just runs like clocks.

Ist schon richtig das mit OTX vieles möglich ist. Aber nicht jeder braucht mathematische Funktionen oder möchte sich all seine Mischer selbst bauen.

Im Bereich FPV und Copter wahrscheinlich führend eben aufgrund dieser Gegebenheit des EVA Prinzips.

Dazu kommt daß die Jumper und Radiomaster FrSky Klone sind...
Wenig Eigenentwicklung, (man bedient sich der Protokolle anderer, die MPM-Firmware wird nicht selbst entwickelt OTX auch nicht) dadurch geringe Kosten und der günstige Preis, alles mehr oder weniger kopiert.

Wohin das führt sieht man aktuell bei FrSky die Schotten sich gegen die Klone ab...

Ethos weg von OTX, weg von Accst, hin zum geschlossenen Access Protokoll das weder Radiomaster noch Jumper hat.

OTX als Option auf Jeti Hardware mit dem bewährtem Duplex HF-System wäre für manche Leute toll, kann ich mir vorstellen.

Ausprobieren würde ich es, klar, wenn die Möglichkeit bestünde aber ich persönlich brauche OTX auf Jeti nicht, finde die Jeti Software, Hardware, HF seitig und von der Bedienung her top, die Möglichkeiten der Programmierung genial, logisch und einfach.

Und ich vergaß LUA zu erwähnen!
Dadurch steht es jedem Jeti-User frei sich eigene Lösungen zu bauen.

you can drive with a Dacia for 9000 EURO from point A to B as well with a 300.000 EURO car. It is up to you what you like; but there will be for sure some differences in driving- and product quality.

OPen TX.. I know a lot of users who sold this radios very fast, because to compicated and they must spent tons of time in open TX forums to get what they want.

But: it is up to every user what he wnts to have; discussions about the price is ? Makes no sence.

Some pilots are using 15 EURO no name servos; other pilots are using 200 EURO servos from well known companies. Also here: everybody can do what he likes.

I’m just looking forward to anything new on the top end from Jeti, bigger screen, and anything else they can throw in…by the time anything would be FCC in the USA/Canada my DC-24 would likely be close to 10 years old……(currently 7 + years old)….

DC16v1 (with the round Antenna) could be....

AFAIK the DC24 was introduced and finally available late 2017.

It takes over 1 year after they are available in Europe…..due to FCC and CA certification, pre-order mine in Sept 2014 was shipped to me after 1 years and 8 days 2015…..will be 7 years in sept…

So I figured since they haven’t announce anything yet….probably next year…..then wait for Europe to get them…..then another year or so and I should have a new shiny TX….
