Dear Jeti,
a lot of people ask for more Wingtypes in the basic configuration of a new model.
If you have for example a Biplane with 4 aileron servos or a 104" or larger 3D aerobatic plane with 2 or more servos per control surface you always have to choose "4 aileron 2 flaps" or "4 aileron 4 flaps".
This means you will have a function "flaps" in the function list that is not used.
Yes, you can just ignore it and not assign it in the servo assignment but....
On a large plane with a lot of functions it gets a bit confusing if there are functions that are not assigned.
It would be better for understanding if there were options for 4 ailerons with out flaps or even 6 ailerons.
In the past it was possible to choose "4 aileron 2 flaps" and then just remove the flaps out of the function list but since an update this is not possible anymore.
If you try to delete the "flaps" function it will automaticly create the function "flaps" again. There is no way to delete it at the moment.
Thank you very much.
Best regards
Lars

Hi,
why so complicated:
1.
we use F3A biplanes and the two servos on the left side are Aileron 1/Aileron1 and on the right side aileron 2/aileron 2.
2.
same for IMAC plane
having for example 6 aileron servos
ailerion 1/aileron1/aileron 1 on the left side and aileron 2/aileron2/aileron2 on the right side.
Very easy ...
Regards

Hi PW,
you can do this but then you will have only 2 servos shown in the menus like butterfly or aileron differential.
So you can only set them independently in the servo settings but not in the other menus.
Best regards

and that is where your knot is between the ears
amount of rudders set in config is what you see in differential and butterfly as S1 S2 S3 etc
and that does not equal amount of servos !!!
each rudder can be controlled by multiple servos
but in differential you want to set the difference for the rudder in total not per servo
and to get the servos in sync that react on one rudder you would use the servobalancer
JUST A REMINDER ... this is the section for jeti comments
maybe first discuss issues or problems in the adequate forum areas before posting here to get load off jeti (and I hope they read here too !!!)

Dear Jeti-Team,
...concerning wingtypes: What about a configuration for a Delta as a predefined type?
Kind regards
Kai
