Elevator stick - restricted movment

Problem is that when adjusting the spring for a harder feel, the metal arm that holds the spring stops in the aluminium housing when full elevatro is aplied.

Anyone elsa have this problem? Or a solution?
( dont want to calibrate or loosen the spring)

I loos about 6-8mm movement on the stick.

As you said, problem is a mechanical limitation by the construction of the gimbal.. What about to change the spring? a stronger spring may help, or?
