2 Wishes for next DC-16/DS-16 firmware update

1) Voice recorder for aerobatic pilots

I am very pleased with my DC-16 because it is an open system and fulfills most of my demands. But aerobatic pilots are still missing an important feature: It would be great if the DC-16/DS-16 could announce the next pattern sequence. For example:

Pilot presses a button
DC-16 answers: "4 point roll, opposite 3 of 4 point roll, exit knife edge“

Pilot presses a button
DC-16 answers: "Knife Edge Entry, wheels down tailslide, 1 Roll up, exit inverted, cross box"

Pilot presses a button
DC-16 answers: "Hammerhead, inverted entry, 2 of 4 point Roll up, 3/4 positive snap down, exit upright"
and so on.

A pattern prompter would be a great help when learning/training new aerobatic maneuvers. Almost 20 years ago, Graupner provided a versatile sound module for the MC-24 transmitter. Why don’t Jeti’s software designers implement this feature for professional users? I know this topic has already been discussed here and on other RC-forums. But I want to remind Jeti’s software designers it’s high time to implement a voice recorder for aerobatic pilots.

2) Assistants for Butterfly and Master/Slave Mixers

When you create an new airplane the DC-16/DS-16 gives step-by-step assistance by telling the transmitter how many ailerons and flaps are installed in the wing, what kind of tail assembly is used, or if the plane is equipped with spoilers and/or retracts etc. Similar tools would be very useful for butterfly and master/slave mixers. These could guide pilots through the complex configuration/programming process step by step without any need for an instruction manual.

I've asked for this before as well. just need to be able to play through a directory of .wav files like the audio player does, but pause between each file and allow us to assign a button/switch to play the next file...

I would like to see a couple of things implemented in the future:

-Ability to deselect the model name box in the display for the telemetry view. It could be shown on page 1, but deselected for page 2 & 3 etc.
It takes up too much space I think

-Possibility to assign a switch to butterfly active/inactive. I want butterfly only to be active when wheels are down, and I use 3 flightmodes
(thermal, speed, cruise). To do this I have to make 6 flight modes. 3 modes for wheel up, and 3 for wheels down. I would like to be able to activate/disable butterfly function with eg. the wheel switch.

- Add custom "resting point" for free mix. When deactivating a free mix, the servo goes to -100. I would like to be able to set the point of return freely (-100 to +100)

- Expand the max master value from +/-100 to +/- 200. Now we need two mixes to drive a servo from -100 to +100 with free mix. Today one mix takes it from -100 to 0, and the second from 0 to +100.

-In free mix allow hardware switch to be master, not only servo channels or functions.

-When using slider or turn knob as switch for a free mix, I would like to be able to set the trigger point of activation. This way I can activate/disable multiple mixes/functions using the same slider.

This works!! Use an Logical Switch with the 2-Wayswitch of the wheel.!!

That is wrong!!! The OFF Position of a 2-Wayswitch as Switch for the mixer is 0% or -100%!!! If you wish other values use an Logical Switch!!

That is wrong!!! Use the correct Mastervalue and the correct mixer curve and it works!
I give you a little help!! Move the Standard mixing curve up or down and make the Mastervalue negativ!!

Use an self mixer like throttle to throttle!!!

You seek for an Offset Point of the slider/knob. You wish a function curve to a slider.
This works witch a PPM-IN to PPM-OUT Connection and a function "Test" with the slider. Use a channel like 8. Make the function curve for
the function "Test". Select the Switch for the mixer and use CH8 and it works perfect.
