Dear all,
there is the need to have a sound based feedback about the vertical speed as we have in real gliders.
#1: Basic function of sound based feedback:
It shall be continious for values below 0 m/s and brocken for x > 0m/s. It shall be a low-pitched sound for negative vertical speed values and become more and more high-pitched for positive rates.
#2: Total energy compensation
It could be perfect to mix MSPEED and MVARIO telemetric feedbacks to compensate the kinetic energy of the aircraft on the vertical speed.
#3: Speech Synthesiser
Additionally a Speech Synthesiser could help to provide information about the altitude and other telemetric values.
But to be clear: The sound of the vario is the essential and clearly prioritised in regards to the Speech Synthesiser.
My Regards
