Hello, has any one experienced an auto-decharge problem on a DS§6 tramistter ?
After 2 or 3 days, my DS16 gets completely flat, so flat that I even have hard time recharging it (takes a few reboot rrior getting On properly when I connect to the a USB or 12V charger).
Got an average of 30% percent lost after 12 hours.
Only modification is the add-on of a DroidBox but worked without any issue for a few months.

As PW said, this behavior is not normal.

Remove the battery and cycle it with your normal charger and check its capacity.

Also: Go to Timers/Sensors and add the TX Telemetry Display as Double View and make a screenshot of that.

Thanks for taking care.

Unfortunately, not at my workshop and missing the right screwdriver to remove cover and test without Droidbox and cycle battery but will do tomorow.

2 questions
- can I safely charge/decharge the Jeti DS16 battery on a regular charger, guess I should use LiIon program ? Thought there was some kind of electronic inside tzhat would prevent that
- on Droidbox, thought it was not powered when transmitter is off, is it possible that voltage persist on the plug ?

Well. the current consumption (344mA) seems quite normal.

1) I am not aware of any protection curcuit inside the battery. Yes, you need to use the LiIon program on your charger!

2) Since I do not own one I can only tell you to measure it, if it is really off. One would assume it is, you are right, but better make sure....
