TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED MUI / Mezon capacity reset - data transfer selecti
22 Jun 2015 13:52
Hi Jeti,
When using the Mezon Telemetry or the MUI current sensor there is no easy way to keep the previous flight capacity. Reset through Jetobox is a bit old fashioned and cumbersome.
It would be great to be able to decide wether the capacity resets auomatically, always or manual.
Automatically might be difficult as there must be a way to figure out if a fresh battery is in use or not. Manual might be easier but by using the built in CLR-Button or a custom one like with the CB200. But this requires in opinion that the programming of these devises must be handled through the device manager and not by the Jetibox.
Especially when it comes to many different sensors there are many parameters who might not be required in the telemetry protocol transmission (like PPM values in the Mezon etc. This might have an impact on the transmission rate and therefore it could be helpful to allow to enable / disable parameters in the different devices. Selection could be done using the device manager function (new item "Telemety values selection")
Best regards
Onki

I'm using a Mezon 120 and it would be great if I could reset the Capacity manually or, even better, it sould reset if I change the battery pack.

Hi,
I am pushing this issue up since I am still having problems with too many telemetry values.
Unfortunalety Mezon and CB200 have no option to disable redundant Parameters (like UBEC and UAccux) in telemetry transmission.
Thrid party devices like the GPS-Logger 2 or UniSense-E can perfectly enable / disable parameters to get all required values transmitted.
It would be great to get this with the CB200 firmware as well since I know that Mezon is dead.
Happy Easter

I have the same "issue" as onki... I'm using a CB200, a Mezon and a GPS-Logger 2 in one model... too much telemetry values...

I am using MUI sensor and Jeti Box.
The MUI detect it, when a new accu is connected.
Then the used capacity is automatically erased, when the motor is started for the first time!
I hope my new Mezon do. it the same way!
Regards
