TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED PC software

One thing that I miss with the Jeti system and that I would love to see is a PC software that enables me to do all the setting up of a new model on my laptop in my workshop. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing it directly in the transmitter but I am getting older and I find it somehow a bit difficult with the small screen.
I came into the Jeti system after using Weatronic for a couple of years. I am sure some of you are familiar with their former PC software and I would like something along the same line with Jeti. Needless to say I find Jeti much more advanced and useful than Weatronic but I miss the possibility to use a purpose built PC software like they had. And, yes I know that Weatronic has quit this possibility with their new line of BAT tx.

Developing a PC software as a company is a huge project and needs a lot of resources.
There is a project of a few Jeti users who try to analyse the jsn model files in order to provide a kind of documentation software.

I am pretty sure that a PC software to do an offline programming will never come due to resources issues.
Jeti would be completely crazy to invest into something huge like this just because of a few user requests.

The transmitter itself is not that bulky to do the programming directly.

Maybe some clever Open Source programmers will create a simulation environment some day to offer a virtual transmitter on the PC (like with the old Palms), but don't expect something like this from Jeti. It is just too expensive to handle and the user expects this as a free software.

Best regards

I am probably older than you and I must use lenses for some precise work.....
I'm using Jeti since last July and I think it's quiet easy to come in and out in menù and different set up steps.
Probably at home for first programming a laptop can be useful - I do not say the contrary - but if you do not
mature experience with your radio what happen if you're at the top pf a mountain and you need a fine tuning
or if you want test a different configuration?
To be honest I use pc only for stupid esc that use tones to be configured......like SB70Pro.... but you've no choice...

Our hobby is anycase linked with pc with analyses of telemetry datas, backups, voice personalization and upgrade.
I must underline the fact that with upgrade 4.0 new font are much clear and better for.....old men...
