TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED Jeti sensor

I wish to have a sensor box like this one in the link, to be connected to DC/DS or Jeti box to measure angles and throw of surfaces.
Two accelerometers as sensor and Jeti provides for software ( or LUA ? )

Thanks

Hello Miko,

you can use any F1 or F3 flight controller with onboard 6DOF IMU (this includes a 3-axis accelerometer) and connect its telemetry output to any Jeti receiver. Currently there is work ongoing at the telemetry interface (betafllight already can use EXBUS, cleanflight only in the newest beta etc.), but I think this will be harmonized during the next weeks / months...

These FC start at around 10,- EUR (STM32 F1 controller, 6DOF) and just require a Jeti RSAT to connect to your transmitter. Just search for "NAZE 6DOF" on ebay or international selling sites...

With a 10DOF type you get the air pressure and temperature in addition, so you can build your weather station with the JETI system ;-)

I use the LTM telemetry output (+ a small converter LTM -> JETI), reporting the quadcopters ROLL and NICK angle in degrees [°], visible as Jeti sensor data and logged by the Jeti transmitter. The FC doesn't care if its fitted to a quadcopter or just used as a measuring device ;-)

Give it a try!
regards Henning

Hi Miko,

you can use the attached PCB. It is made to deliver information to the EXbus. Its very small and light weight.
Folgende Funktionen sind noch vorhanden:
  • Power from external BEC
  • Hardserial
  • Softserial
  • Hard und Softserial with resistor to meat spec
  • IIC
  • SPI (MISO,MOSI,SS, SCL)
  • Prg Port comatible wiht Arduino IDE
  • one additional Input

Connect a 10 DOF via IIC to the board and you are ready to go.

Marc
