PPM 'in'

Hello, interesting idea, but I have my doubts if it would be possible to configure an output signal (assumption: transistor output) as an input signal just by modifying the software… :whistle:

ich denke diese FPV Option, also Steurung über die Brille, kann sich zur Zeit nur mittels Lehrer/Schüler realisieren lassen, da kann man ja bestimmte Kanäle von 0-100% vergeben, so könnte man die Bewegungen schalten, mischen oder übersteuern können.
Dazu wird man aber ein Jeti Modul oder eine JBP benötigen, ist im Moment die einzige Lösung.

PPM-In mittels Kabel direkt an der DC/DS 16 wäre natürlich noch besser, wurde aber sicher von Beginn an nicht angedacht, sonst hätten die Steuerungen von Jeti eine schöne Buchse an der Aussenseite für PPM-IN or OUT.

It's usually no problem to configure signal lines as input OR output in modern microprocessors. It's only a problem if you have drivers behind the processor. What you really want to do, is to protect the processor against high voltages from the outside, because a damaged processor is expensive to repair. So, if a line is configured as input, you need a bidirectional signal converter ( it only needs two parts, if you know how :woohoo: )
Since the schematics of the DC-16 are not available to the public, it's on Jeti to comment further on this. I am to lazy for the reverse engineering. :whistle:

I could imagine a special purpose adapter that fits a plug connector instead of a switch with the line converter that connects to the PPM port as a add-on module, in case the line protection is not there already.

also wenn du mir etwas zu meinem post sagen willst, dann kannst du das auch auf deutsch, denn es betrifft ja nur mich und wie die sehen kannst verstehe ich auch gut Deutsch ansonst, tschuldigung das ich mich da eingemischt habe!

As it was said above this post, the digital ports might be used in both ways, however, they are not protected against overvoltage on the input.
