TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED Moisture in display
13 Oct 2020 21:37
Went out today with my 2 month old DS-12 and looked down at the display while flying and couldn't see anything, Significant condensation was trapped under the glass. I set it upright in the sun and after about 15 or 20 minutes it slowly disappeared. I store my transmitter in a a Jeti aluminum case in my humid South Carolina garage. It has never been exposed to any moisture other than the typical high humidity around here. I am concerned about damage to the display from obviously trapped moisture. Has anyone else experienced this?

Years ago I had the same problem with one of the first DS16. Now I own a DC24 and never had a moisture issue; both transmitters are stored and used in the same way. Sad to hear that this issue might be back with the 12-edition.
Kind regards
Kai

I will move it inside my house where there is less moisture. Thank you for the replies.
