TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED ds14 firmware update

Hello

I have jeti ds14 (first version) running firmware 4.28, i didn't upgrade the firmware to a more recent version because i didn't have a reason and everything was working great.

Now i began to fly turbines and wanted to use some lua apps to display telemetry from turbine ecu.

The question is, if i upgrade the firmware of the transmitter to a lua version like 4.28 lua or a more recent one, the models i have programed and adjusted remain? I mean i will need to do the programming again for the models i have on the sdcard or they are always compatible with any firmware version.

Regards,
Jose

Hi Jose.
Your models will after the update work as before. After the update the transmitter will lead you through a short check of the Stick- and Switch-assignment. But that‘s it.
Nevertheless you should carfeully check everything before flying.

Volker

Ok, if you manually mount the volume it works.

After the update the transmitter will lead you through a short check of the Stick- and Switch-assignment.
I upgraded to 4.28 lua version firmware but nothing happened... no checks, its normal?

Ok, yes your are right.... very old and now that i had a reason to upgrade as i wanted to use lua, why not put last one.

i installed the most recent version jeti studio offered to me 5.0.6.

Now yes i was asked to confirm switches assignment on each model memory, everything looked ok.

One thing i noticed is that now when i shutdown receiver i get a message on transmitter "telemetry lost" and some beep sounds, in the past i get a signal lost sound.

How this works now? you don't get a signal lost warning anymore and instead you get a telemetry lost one?

Jose
