Shorter stick option on dc-16??

I am a heli flyer and prefer a slightly shorter stick..

with the dc-16 stock stick screwed in all the way it is still a little long for my preference....

if the lower sleeve is removed the cap can go down lower but you cant use buttons/switches on the stick as the center shaft hits the switch portion..this requires the lower sleeve ....

any chance of a little shorter lower sleeve? this would allow it to be shorter but still provide the space needed for the switches???
