I have a Jeti DS-16 and I am wondering about the RF section. Does it have 2 separate RF sections each with 2 antennas? Does the RF output vary depending on distance between Tx and Rx?

Hello,

yes the DS-16 has two separate rf sections, each with two antennas.

As far as I know, the rf output is not varied depending on distance.

Hi,

Jeti HF power is NOT depending on the distance to the RX/airplane. Jeti power is 100 mW, corresponding to the laws.

We were told on RCGroups by Jeti USA power is variable depending on the RF telemetry strength.

I have the answer from Jeti software developer personally; to whom I have nearly every day mail contact; at the moment for testing DC-24 prototyp.
I asked him about the Esprit statement and he gave my this answer NO.

but really not importent; best is: Jeti stuff works great
