TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED Dual path configuration REX + Rsat2 problem
18 Nov 2015 13:46
Upgraded the Rsat2 to ver.3.24 first so I could configure via the Device Explorer on my DS-16.
Configured Dual Path mode and can see both primary (Rex10) and secondary (Rsat2) in Device Explorer and configured as per the instructions (fail safe, channel number, PPM pos etc..).
Repeated the procedure a couple of times and I am sure that the Rsat is not in Clone mode.
The problem is that I only see A1/A2 from the primary, I cannot see the Rsat2.
I understand that you should see a Sat input notification in Device Explorer/general settings but it is not there.
I am under the impression that the REX10 does not know that PPM input is provided, hence the Rsat2 is not communicating with the REX10 -> no telemetry feedback/functionality.
Could it be that the procedure deviates here as opposed to a R series RX.?There is also no indication on the REX receivers where the Sat should be connected, but the manual says E1 (pin13) or E2 (pin8) input.
Do I have to set something specifically in the Device Explorer menu out pin set/pin config/PPM input for the E1 or E2 respective pin?
Must admit that I did not check what the default value is…
Thanks for your comments

As far as I know you must set the antenna telemetry Screen in Zoom "Yes" to see all four antennas.

I overlooked the "double" configuration under Timer/sensors -> displayed telemetry.
This will enlarge the A/Q feedback windi in the TX and display also the secondary RX A/Q feedback.
Thanks for your feedback
