When I use a Jetibox as a servo tester I can move the servo arm from 0.990 ms to 2050 ms.
Why is this not possible using the Jeti DC24 TX?

Use newest Firmwate for Rx!
With older Firmeware put servo limits in RX to 0.900ms and 2.200ms.

hi bose

the easiest way to update a jeti receiver is IMO the jeti-studio.
download the jeti studio, you will find in the menu sth. like "update devices" conect the rceiver with a jeti usb adapter and follow the onscreen instructions.
a matter of seconds an the RX is up-2-date.

check this video tutorial from hacker
[strike] www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=106&v=I2y4Q4I588Q [/strike]

sorry thats the old way, looking for a tut with jetistudio its much easier

cannot find a video tutorial on jeti studio RX update.
but as written before its self explaining.

I am not sure but there should be a little batch on the receiver showing the month/year something like VII/10 (which would be july 2010).
I haven't git the exact date at hand, but sth. like last quarter 2010 is the date from wher on the receivers where updateable I think.

did you use the jeti-studio?

if a RX is updateable, then the jeti-studio will show current FW installed and propose which FWs are avaulable to update.
sometimes the RX is not recognized on first connection, some user made the experience, that they had to connect and disconnet it several times (up to 8-10 times sometimes restart the jeti studio or even reboot their machines) before the RX was recognised. so when you have tried multiple times in jeti-studio attached/detached restarted rebooted and a RX is not recognised, then it is either a non updateable older receiver or it has some problems.

in generell the black labeld
R <channel N°> EX
REX <channel N°>
are all updateable
the old RX wis the yellowish colured label are not always able to be updated, but then again it depends on production time which correcponds to the controller-change that has been mde on the newer once.
