TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED Using Jeti DS14 and R3 with Phoenix Simulator
05 Feb 2017 04:31
I need help making this work again. I had to remove the R3, and forgot to mark the ports to use for the data PPM.
Can someone tell me if the DS14 needs any special settings to work with the Phoenix Sim, and what port to plug the data, is it EXT, 1, 2, 3?
Thanks

Hello StarLog,
as I remember correctly EXT is the only port that can generate PPM-Out.
No, there are no special settings necessary to use the DC14.
Simply bind the receiver and assign switches, you like to use, to some free channels.
Best regards,
Ingmar

are you sure ingmar?
IMHO it is port 3 that generates the PPM.
check file.espritmodel.com/documents/pdf/duplex-ex.pdf page 25
or www.espritmodel.com/jeti-duplex-ex-r3-rs...tch-w-telemetry.aspx
both say port 3

Ohhhh, I think I have made a mistake.
There is no Sat-Port available, than Out3 is used to output the PPM-Signal.
Sorry.
R3L Manual:
8.4 Receiver with the PPM output
- possibility to select PPM pos./neg.
- PPM output is on SAT2 output (if it exists), alternately SAT1 (if it
exists), alternately on the last servo output (then the number of
servo output is decreased by one) depending upon your
selected receiver.
So it should be Out3.
Sorry again,
Ingmar

PORT 3 = Servo or PPM or UDI (Rx setup depend)
for SIM flying set the PPM to PPM8 (8 chanel only, positive or negative, it depends on the interface of the SIM )
