Hello all - I use a DC 24 TX - trying to set up a launch phase where the elevator function is delayed by 3seconds after launch.
I use a switch with 3 pos. 1) switch Down = motor stop 2) switch mid = motor half speed 3) switch up = motor full speed + ailerons and flaps up by 2 mm + elevator is Down by 2mm. All is working OK. But I Want to delay the Down movement of the elevator by 3 SECONDS. How do I do this?

Do you want to delay the down function one time during activating for 3 seconds?
Meaning the elevator shall go down to an selected position with a delay of 3 seconds as new base position?

If I do get you right, do as followed:

Define a flight phase for your elevator function and adjust a delay of 3 seconds in the menu.
Define a mixer from elevator to elevator and set it to (S) Selected.
If the elevator down flight phase is active, select a constant curve and a master value.
With adjustment of these two parameter you can put the elevator down to the required position.

If the flight phase is activated, the base position will change to the new defined position by time, meaning the servo will go down to the new base position step by step over the 3 seconds.
I hope I was able to help you so far and got you right.

Regards Bodo

Thank you very much Bodo for your help.
The reason for delaying the Down movement of the elevator is to prevent the model from pointing down immediately after launch.
I do not know if it is 3 seconds or less - I had to put some value so that I Can explain my problem better.
If you have a better method for the launch phase for a powered glider (F5J introduction) then I Will welcome your suggestions.
Thank you - Bose
