DS-5 in DC-16 Student monitor screen

Just bought a DS-5 mode-2 to use only as a trainee TX. DC-16 is trainer TX.
DC-16 basic plane setup, everything set to default (servos course 100).
In trainer mode dc-16, receiver output scree (monitor) shows
-100/+100 values for all chanels.

In trainee mode, there is a Student monitor screen
to see values coming from DS-5:
Ch1 -87/+87 (AIL)
Ch2 -87/+92 (ELEV)
Ch3 -85/+97 (throttle)
Ch4 -99/+91 (Rudder)
Ch5 -100/+102 (on/off switch)

There can be up to 15% 'missing' and for some chanel it's asymetric.
So expect less travel when using DS-5 as student TX, and be carefull with throttle.

do you have the full dualrate at the potentiometer at the ds5?

No dual rates, potis are set to max.
There is a bit more travel for ail and rudder when the stick Throttle or Elev are at -100 or +100 than in the center.
Good is that center is ok with 0 with trim centered.

Used Fine Tuning Functions curves+110/-110 in a flight phase 'Trainee' with same switch as Trainee mode in the DC-16,
and then all is ok.
