Jeti Spin 99 Opto Pro Brake/Idle Issue

I have been using Spin 99's for a while, but this is the first Pro I have used. It has a strange symptom which I have been ignoring but it has just cost me points at our F3A National Championships so now I want to fix it

The symptom occurs - only sometimes - when I "blip" the throttle a few clicks up and down between brake and idle during say a spin approach/entry or landing approach. Most of the time it is fine, but once in a while it does not return to brake when the throttle is closed. Instead the motor keeps idling at low RPM and I have to blip the throttle open and closed again to get it to go back onto brake.

I have swapped in one of my older Spin 99's and it does not exhibit this symptom.

Is this a known problem? If not I will provide more details of my ESC programming.

Hi Adrian,

a friend of mine is using the same equippment in F3a pattern. And it works without problems. Perhaps you make a total resett of the controller or you go in contact with Hacker or Pletti.

By the way:

what happens if you set higher acceleration time ?

With our Q 80 we are using 1 s acceleration time in both F3a MythoS.

I've actually just sold the model, but I have kept the ESC for my next airframe. I'll try the full reset and see if it resolves the issue. Just nice to know it isn't a well known issue.
