TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED REX12A wont calibrate on elevator

A new REX12A arrived a couple of days ago, I have set it up on the bench and it is working perfectly in roll and yaw, the servos respond as the receiver is moved.
Yes I have set up the 6 axes.

The problem is the elevator is not calibrating.
Channel Assignment--assign primary flight channels
Calibrate ailerons -- Stick to the right center stick to the left.
Calibrate elevators-- Move elevator up (pull) center stick ----I do this BUT there is no message asking to push the stick forward just a message stop calibration.
Calibrate rudder-- Works perfectly, stick to the right the stick to the left

The elevator servos are working perfectly when the elevator stick is moved.

The aileron servos and the rudder are responding to a movement of the receiver, but the is no movement of the elavator servo.

So my problem is, have I made an mistake in the assist setup or do I have a faulty REX12A ,?
I have installed the latest firmware 1.24.

Ideas and help please.

Hello Ross,
please be sure that the elevator has more than 30/40% throw.

Thanks Ingmar, but I dont think that throw is the problem.
The problem is that the calibrate tells me to "pull" ie up elevator but does not give the next instruction which should
be "push" for down elevator.

Best wishes

Ingmar, wonderful, you are correct.
I just changed the elevator throws to more than 60 up and down, rechecked the calibrate
and it worked perfectly.
So I aplogise for my comment that I didn't think that throw was the problem, you were totally correct.
THANKS the elevator now works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best wishes have a fine flying weekend.
