TPL_KUNENA_MESSAGE_CREATED Alarms not working after replacing receiver
19 Aug 2015 20:27 - 19 Aug 2015 21:30
I have replaced a Jeti 6 channel EX receiver for a Jeti 7 REX.
The receiver exits 1 to 6 are used for ESC and servo's. On de EXT connector is a 4 channel expander with a MUI 30, a MVARIO and a MRPM. Channel 7 (E2) is changed in a EXT connection with a MGPS.
On the display of my DC-16 I see values from all sensors, the variosound works. Also all other speech output works fine.
But I have a problem with the alarms. The alarms from te MGPS, connected to channel 7 (E2) works as before. The alarms from de MVARIO and de MUI are not working. The MRPM have no alarms.
With the old Jeti 6 EX everything works fine.
What do I wrong???
With greetings,
Nico

Did you check your alarm menu? Are the telemetry values still assigned to the correct alarm?

Try to creat a new (duplicate) alarm and see if that works.

Hallo Nico,
It seem´s that the Expander E4 is to slow for the REX-7 EXT Port.
If the data rate of the sensor is too slow, the DC-16 make no alarms.
I would use a mvario2 on the E1 Slot. If you connect the mui and the MRPM to the mvario2 it works better.
The mvario2 has a fast Exbus-Expander.
