Yes I agree, it would be nice to have the option to transmit without a normal Rx being switched on. In that way the use of a clone Rx would be easier and safer.

Well, as I just stated. Switch to the Double Path mode and you will have exactly that!
No downside to it!

If there is really no downside then yes, but does the handling of 2 sets of telemetry affect the data rate for the data I am interested in from the model. I am not interested in telemetry from the ground based Rx, so this seems like a waste of resources.
If we have to install the Neu telemetry device that may leave no room for a Unilog, so I am thinking about an enhanced UniSens-E and logging the data in the Tx. The higher the data rate the better for motor analysis.

Well the telemetry data is increased by two values. Antenna strength and RX voltage. So the data rate should not be significantly reduced. But in any case the refresh rate is to slow for any in depth motor/prop analysis if you ask me. Even the 20Hz of the UniLog 2 in standalone mode are barely sufficient.

Interesting side fact, the Unilog 2 can be configured in such a way that only the data which is interesting to you is being transmitted. I suggest that you keep them to a minimum. Thanks for speaking about that by the way, I need to check my configuration :D!

Agreed detail is not good, but it is better than nothing and you can get the Tx to call out watt*mins during the flight as you burn them.
A comparison of UniLog 2 logged data with UniSens-E data logged in Tx via telemetry is attached. The UniSens-E data is on top.

Weiß jemand was hier abgeht?
